For as long as anyone in my family can remember, all I have ever wanted is to be a Vet. Other children are interested in dolls, music and painting – I just wanted to make all my teddies better!
So you can imagine how over the moon I was to be accepted at Bristol Vet school. During my time at university I became increasingly passionate about the welfare of the animals in my care. It became clear to me I was going to be a Behaviour Vet. In 2009, I graduated with both a Veterinary degree and a 1st class BSc in Animal Behaviour and Welfare.
I spent my early Vet career in a busy small animal practice in North London.
In 2011, the sunny shores of Sydney were calling and I relocated down under. It was here I spent the next 9 great years!
In 2014, I studied for and obtained ‘Membership’ of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in Vet Behaviour. In the same year, I started Life on Four Legs. I spent the next 5 wonderful years meeting hundreds of Sydney’s feline and canine residents and working with some great veterinarians and dog trainers.
In 2019, I relocated back to the UK to be near family. I now live in rural Essex with my husband, daughter & our two Australian cats! Henry, the handsome ridiculous Maine Coon and Emily his un-naughty tortie rescue sister.
I am an ABTC Registered Veterinary Behaviourist and Clinical Animal Behaviourist, an ASAB Accredited Clinical Animal Behaviourist as well as being a full member of the APBC and FABC.
Life on Four Legs now covers a wide area of the South East of England. This includes London, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Essex. Contact me to see if I cover where you live.
I look forward to meeting you and the furry members of your family soon.
